Let’s close out the year by wishing a happy birthday to one of the greatest actors of all time, two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins! Funnily, both of his Best Actor Oscars, thirty years apart, were surprises. When he won in 1991 for The Silence of the Lambs, Nick Nolte was the frontrunner for The Prince of Tides, and in 2000, Hopkins won for The Father while everyone expected the late Chadwick Boseman to win for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
