Jane Alexander is one of the great actresses across all mediums, with a Tony, two Emmys, and four Oscar nominations: The Great White Hope, All the President’s Men, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Testament — the last of which was released forty-one years ago today. It’s a remarkable, humane drama courtesy of Lynne Littman based on a John Sacret Young script.

Jane is a national treasure (and in the 90s, she was the Chair of the National Endowment of the Arts!) and should have an Oscar.
