It’s this musical goddess’ birthday! If you’re lucky enough to have seen her in concert, then you’ll know she’s quick to mention her Oscar nomination for the original song “Save Me” in 1999 Paul Thomas Anderson masterpiece Magnolia. She lost to Phil Collins for Tarzan‘s “You’ll Be In My Heart” (but she’s also quick to acknowledge that “One More Night” is a good song).
