In 1945, a catastrophic attack lands Chester Bailey in the hospital, without vision or the use of his hands. Joseph Dougherty draws a striking contrast between Chester (Ephraim Birney), dwelling in a world constructed out of imagination and bits of memory, and his doctor, Cotton (Reed Birney), dealing with his own issues both personal and professional. Come for the intriguing plot, which shows how sometimes the medical profession must hurt a patient to help them; but stay to watch father and son acting in perfect harmony.
