Everything about this British seriocomic mystery surprised — how mordantly funny it could be, how it could surprise, how close it could get to the edge of audience loyalty without crossing the line. Everything about Sharon Horgan’s series should be nominated. I’d go for all five sisters — Eva Birthistle, Anne-Marie Duff, Sarah Greene, Eve Hewson, and Horgan herself — as well as breakout performer Claes Bang, who was so very good at being so very bad.
